All Things Are the Soul of God, A Poem

The weary washer
Heard from the shower head
“I am God”
And believed it
Hot water struck with taut skin
and revealed itself
“I too am God”
The plumber? Asked unparted lips
“God”
Manufacturing robots? Their engineers?
“God, the both of them”
The post-shower body gazed at itself
Through a mirror revealing itself as God
and asked the reflection
“And myself?”
“God.”
