It’s been quite a long time since I’ve posted content on Writings By Ender but I missed it with my entire being. I’m actively writing again and hope to get a short story to you all by the end of next week. Until then I’m trying to decide what other material I should add to the site. What would you like to see on Writings by Ender? What sort of content do you enjoy on other writing blogs? Please feel free to tell me any of your opinions!

Is your blog name inspired by Ender’s Game…it’s cool you’re starting a lit mag. I would love to do the same.

It’s half inspired by Ender’s Game and half inspired by my life. When I was learning Turkish I was given the name Ender which means “rare or precious”. The lit mag is fully fledged check out http://belomag.com/ for free issues and details

I definitely will do that…that’s interesting about your name too. I’ve been learning Norwegian and Swedish over the past year or so.

What about writing prompts?

I like writing prompts! My only problem was that when I was running them a year ago there wasn’t very many responses. If I can think of a way to better engage the audience I would love to

I was thinking about including your writeups in the corresponding writing prompts. Like you post a certain writing prompt and below it will be your writeup of the prompt…It’s like posting writing prompts and short stories at the same time.

Well, I have been suggested to add more description as I was expressing more of the action. I so agree that is what I should do, but I am also afraid to over do it with the description in case the reader looses the thread of the story. As I have read some where they were so descriptive I had to reread to remember what the piece was originally saying. Would love some help on that topic help. Thank you
